Corporate Profile

The Albany Port Authority is a corporate body constituted under the Port Authorities Act 1999. The port is owned by the Government of Western Australia and the Port Authority is responsible to the Minister for Transport.
The Authority is comprised of a Chairman and four members, all of whom are appointed by the Minister for terms of up to three years. The Chairman and members are eligible for re-appointment at the Minister's discretion.
